Panoramica
The Bachelor’s degree in Management is designed to equip graduates with the fundamental knowledge and competencies essential for core business functions, with a particular emphasis on marketing, strategic management, national and international systems, business organisation and information systems management.
The Management degree programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills to comprehend and analyse prevailing changes in the national and international economic systems. From this standpoint, management graduates refine their English language proficiency and acquire the competence to interpret predominant economic trends, facilitating the formulation of management decisions through the utilisation of quantitative methodologies (data analysis oriented towards business issues). For instance, the course ‘Mathematics for Business’ now exhibits a greater orientation towards content aligned with business requirements as opposed to being exclusively economic in nature. Additionally, the course ‘Social Statistics’ incorporates contemporary subjects such as the application of machine learning algorithms or generative AI. Furthermore, the course ‘Marketing Analytics’ incorporates hands-on laboratory experiences.
Furthermore, an English-language module, entitled ‘Methods for Social Sciences’, has been incorporated into a number of existing courses.
The course is designed to equip students who do not intend to pursue further studies beyond the three-year programme with the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully enter the job market. It also aims to facilitate their integration into the prevalent small business sector, where the possession of multiple ‘transversal’ managerial skills is essential.
The programme provides a solid foundation of knowledge and skills that are essential for progression to further studies at master’s level in business and economics.
