Overview

Communication, Innovation, Multimedia (CIM) is the ideal Degree Course for those who want to acquire appropriate training for new communication professions, attentive to current events and multimedia tools.
During the studies students gain the fundamental skills that characterize the professions of communication today and are most desirable by the labor market.
The degree program provides a theoretical and operational preparation aimed at new professions in the communication sector, with particular attention to two areas of emerging importance in contemporary society: communication in innovative contexts and multimedia communication.
To graduate in CIM it is necessary to take exams dedicated to the most important issues in the world of communication, such as:
Internet and digital media; management and economy; written communication and public speaking; web design; marketing and advertising; media and politics; multimedia publishing; and ethics and sociology of communication. Students will also study two foreign languages together with workshops dedicated to the professions of communication. Each student must also carry out an internship consistent with their interests.

Graduates in Comunicazione, innovazione, multimedialità will be able to cover those professional roles characterized by an integrated mix of linguistic, social (political, legal and economic) skills and innovative information technologies, or in a role of expert in communication with not only specific professional knowledge, but also the necessary interdisciplinary culture and sensitivity to understand the complexity of communication issues in innovative social contexts.
Employment opportunities and professional activities foreseen by this degree courses are in public and private organizations, at national and international levels, as professionals in communication and public relations, multimedia experts, distance education, professionals in publishing companies and advertising agencies.
The degree course in Comunicazione, innovazione, multimedialità offers the possibility of in-depth study in several fields: on one side, management, law, policy and economic and labor processes, in order to integrate the professional profile of experts in public relations, advertising or communicators in companies and public organizations (national and international); on the other side, linguistic, semiotic, literary, artistic, cinema, radio and TV disciplines, in order to integrate the professional profile of operators in publishing (traditional and multimedia) or communicators in the cultural and entertainment sectors.
